Alyssa Thomas
Alyssa Thomas serves as the President of Lonesome Palm Consulting LLC. She is an experienced business analyst, political manager, federal lobbyist, and non-profit consultant. She is passionate about the intersection between technology and government and the potential it has for the future of citizen engagement.
Previously, Alyssa worked at Carmen Group Inc. in Washington DC for 6 years as the Senior Associate for Government Technology. At Carmen Group, she identified potential business opportunities for clients and provided them with direction for navigating the political and regulatory processes, enabling them to proactively maximize benefits while minimizing conceivable risks. In this role, Alyssa worked directly with many of the country’s leading technology companies, supporting them in their efforts to provide private-sector-quality services to government entities. These companies include, TeleTech, Sprint, SoftBank, T-Mobile, Crown Castle, Citelum, and more.
Alyssa is a native Floridian and a proud graduate of the University of Missouri (Mizzou) where she received her B.A. in History with a minor in Business Administration. Alyssa earned both her Master’s Degree in Political Management and her Graduate Certificate in PAC (Political Action Committee) Management at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM).
Alyssa lives on Saint Simons Island, GA with her husband, Waite Thomas and their dog Camden.
